Dust Control Available Now: Choose Liquid Calcium Chloride

  • Liquid Calcium Chloride is on the Saskatchewan Transportations approved list for road spray. We measure our product liter rates by multiplying length by width by liter per meter, using a Garmin GPS for our meter lengths.

  • Our solution is made from brine water, a product that is 100% natural at a 32%* calcium concentration metric. We spray the product with a tri-axle spray truck, equipped with and 10 meter width rate requirement.

  • Before beginning the liquid calcium treatment, the site must be graded and prepared so that the product can be absorbed. We will assess the soil and determine a rate necessary prior to treating the area.

  • By maximizing compaction, calcium chloride also provides a longer-lasting road. Reduce gravel replacement costs: Up to 80% of the cost of aggregate replacement can be saved when calcium chloride is properly applied. ... As a result, calcium chloride keeps dust down longer than other dust control agents.

  • The number of liter we lay depends on the traffic on that soil. Area’s with lower traffic, such as secondary Municipalities road will be treated with less material, while logging or high traffic Main grids area will be a heavier application.
